Cultivating success across sectors

Georges arrived in Montreal in 1990, after fleeing a war-torn Lebanon, where he met Denise.  The two shared a vision to build a better life for themselves and future generations.  Denise, who held several executive level positions in Corporate Communications and Marketing, worked alongside Georges while he built successful companies including Atelka and Aheeva.  Aheeva Technology is a company that develops and markets turnkey contact center solutions that enhance customer interaction and optimizes agent productivity; Atelka is a private company that provides client contact management services.

In 2012, when it sold to private equity fund, Kilmer Capital, Atelka employed more than 2,500 people across five Canadian cities and serviced clients across North America. After the sale of Atelka, Georges continued his entrepreneurial journey by buying, investing into and optimizing multiple software businesses.

In 2014, after leaving Atelka, Georges joined Genetec as partner and CCO and led the global team of sales, marketing and operations.

In 2019, along with BDC, Fondaction and W investments, Georges orchestrated the purchase of Cognibox, which sold in 2022 to Apax, a UK-based private equity fund.

During this time, the pair also started investing in residential real estate projects in Montreal, ultimately leading to the creation of Le Domus, as well as high-potential startups. Together, Georges and Denise have built a solid foundation for Aylee Investments.
